Welcome, friends, to the blog! If you’ve landed here, it means you have an interest in the outdoors, and quite possibly an interest in living a life where you experience each and every moment exactly as they come to you.

Here in this ultra-present and sometimes oversharing space we embrace the idea that we were meant to live a natural life full of love, responsibility, and authenticity. We are fans of imperfection, and it’s not uncommon that we’d rather be outside in the Forêt, or Forest. Fun fact: I do not speak French fluently; my skills are very basic. Regardless, I love the language and am working towards small goals within it, which is just another example of the other facet we embrace here: the idea that we should always be learning something for ourselves and about each other. There are so many sides to each person that we’ll never fully discover their full wilderness, but we can enjoy trying.

If you came for a virtual coffee break in nature, and you find that your heart belongs in the hills or the mountains and the gentle tides of alpine lakes, you came to the right place for some quick hiking regalements. You might even notice that there has been a change in name, too. Just like the purpose of the blog has changed, so have my goals, and I thought the change was necessary.
